KUALA LUMPUR, May 5th 2025: Asia Mobility Technologies Sdn Bhd (Asia Mobiliti) has adopted CommercePay’s advanced payment gateway, a move set to streamline digital transactions and boost operational efficiency across its urban mobility services.
The partnership was recently formalised between Asia Mobiliti chief executive officer Ramachandran Muniandy and Commerce.Asia Group of Companies group chief executive officer Kuna Kathigesan.
Explaining the decision, Ramachandran said the platform offers a “rapid, efficient and secure payment process, without the setup and annual maintenance fees that many competitors impose.” He highlighted CommercePay’s flexibility in customising payment flows to match Asia Mobiliti’s app design and user experience as a key factor.
“The support for payment tokenisation for bank cards and the TNG eWallet ensures our services remain at the forefront of technological innovation and customer convenience,” he said.
He added that its developer-friendly APIs and dedicated technical support allowed for swift integration. “Its customisable design makes it ideal for agile, tech-driven companies like ours that need partners who can adapt quickly,” he said.

Kuna noted that CommercePay has gained strong traction due to its versatility and ease of integration. “CommercePay is built to serve diverse business needs across e-commerce, live commerce, social commerce and mobile commerce,” he said.
“We have a highly experienced team and are committed to making our platform as user-friendly as possible. We’re now focused on launching solutions to boost online payment adoption in rural areas, helping break down barriers and bring meaningful progress to these communities,” he added.
Asia Mobiliti, an award-winning Malaysian Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform and digital city solutions provider, is recognised for modernising urban transport in emerging markets. Its offerings include connected vehicle systems, demand-responsive transit, multimodal journey planning, and advanced IoT systems for predictive analytics.
“These initiatives solve real-world challenges in urban mobility,” said Asia Mobiliti chief commercial officer Vicks Kanagasingam. “Integrating CommercePay enhances our user experience. Fast, stable payment processing allows users to book rides with minimal delay, which is vital for smooth transit.”
He added that CommercePay’s reliability and scalability support Asia Mobiliti’s growing user base and broader urban tech rollout. “Its flexibility and proven performance make it the right fit for our expansion.”
Since its launch, CommercePay has seen rapid adoption, with hundreds of digital businesses now using the platform. These include BizApp—Malaysia’s largest rural-focused social commerce platform supporting agent-based businesses and Bumiputera entrepreneurs—and Xamble Creators, which connects content creators with brands.
“As we welcome Asia Mobiliti into the CommercePay ecosystem, we’re excited to show how mobility and fintech can create more inclusive and seamless digital experiences,” said Kuna.
“This partnership supports our broader mission to drive digital adoption in both urban and underserved communities. Whether it’s a startup, SME or emerging tech company, CommercePay empowers businesses to scale with flexible, reliable and efficient payment solutions,” he added.
