OUR STORY
It wasn’t poor public transport infrastructure or the government’s support of local automobile manufacturers that led Malaysia to be a private-car-first country, leading to congestion, pollution, and underutilized transit services. It was the gaps that can only be filled by digitalization. How can passengers use buses without a certain ETA? Were there any parking spots available at the station? How can operators effectively monitor their fleet? How can road conditions be monitored for maintenance? How can freight services have more efficient routing?
These were all unanswered questions.
After being friends and neighbors for over 10 years, Ram and Prem both felt the need to work together in helping Malaysia fill these gaps. In 2018, they joined hands in founding Asia Mobiliti, to now be the first and only startup in Malaysia enabling a holistic approach to transforming mobility towards digitalization.
We built our approach upon three main pillars: IoT and Machine Learning, Mobility as a Service, and Transit Technology. Our solutions are inherently interconnected, powering innovative use cases. This forms the unique foundation of our approach. Through intelligent digitalization, we are now expanding to other emerging markets and aim to lead transformations of entire cities.
